Classroom newsletters can be a daunting task. Each Friday I send out a newsletter to my parents. Sending out regular newsletters keeps parents involved in what is happening in your class. I usually start working on the newsletter on Thursday afternoon and finish up Friday.
Let’s be honest… we don’t really look forward to writing a newsletter after a long week. Sometimes on Friday, I would rather go home to a nap and a bowl of ice cream.
However, the communication between home and the classroom is essential. Newsletters can help a parent partner with the teacher in their child’s education. It allows me to reflect on our week and look forward to what is happening the coming week.
I don’t know about you, but I look forward to doing something when I can make it look cute. I think most teachers are the same. We want cute classrooms. Cute teacher binders. And cute bags to hold our teacher supplies.
So, let’s fix this problem and turn those drab newsletters into something cute and a fun way to communicate with parents. Here is a little video to show you how to use my newsletter templates to make your newsletter cute cute cute!
If you would like to purchase these newsletters, you can find them in my TpT store. The newsletter bundle comes with black and white versions for teachers who print and send home newsletters in folders. This is a growing bundle.
