Things look a little different around here?
I am so excited to present to you this new adventure and new look. For months I have kept this little secret from you guys and now I am sooooo excited to show you what I have been working on these past few months.
Take a moment to look around the new website, you will notice several new things. One major thing is I have divided my blog into two sections.
Kinders & Beyond will be more classroom related posts.
The Blog will be posts related to faith, family, fashion, food, and fitness. I have some really exciting things planned for this section of my blog like fantastic giveaways and virtual Bible studies. I wanted this to be a place where you could find an idea for your classroom AND find an easy recipe for dinner. I want to share a little more of my personal life with you guys. After all, I consider each and every single one of you friends. This website is for YOU! Take your shoes off. Curl up in your jammies. Grab coffee, chocolate, diet coke, or whatever your fix is and stay awhile.
Since I am celebrating the new design and sharing more a personal side of my life. I decided to have a giveaway of my favorite things!
Favorite Thing #1
My mom is so talented. My creative spark comes from her! She owns the local florist and has a little Etsy shop called Doolollies where she ships wreaths all over the US. I have picked out one of my favorite wreaths to give away. If you would like to contact her for custom orders you can email her at doololliesdesigns@gmail.com.
Favorite Thing #2
I found this sweet little shop called Pine Designs at a craft fair this fall. I love the unique signs that she makes. Picture from Pine Designs Facebook.
I am giving away two signs that I found. I thought both of these fit the theme of this blog. Check her out on Facebook and tell her I sent you.
Favorite Things #3
I wanted you to have a HUGE mug to curl up with while you were reading away on my blog. And because of the fact that I love coffee. No worries, if hot tea is your thing you can curl up with some of that too.
Doesn’t this look cozy!?!?
Favorite thing #4
Since most of you are teachers, I decided to throw in some classroom supplies that I can’t live with out. My beloved scissors. Tacky finger for sorting papers. Fabulous Flair Pens. Seriously, I can’t grade without them. And a double sided tape dispenser. No more making loops for tape!
Favorite Thing #5
I met Margaret Vera at another fair! And let me tell you I fell in LOVE with some scarves she has in her store. They are made from an Indian Sari. I love to wear a winter scarf. This southern gal can’t survive the winter with out them. I gotta have them! Margaret is fabulous and SUPER nice. Check her out on Facebook and find her website here. Tell her that I sent you! I get complements on this scarf wherever I go!
Favorite thing #6
Does your purse ever get to be a wreck? I have a horrible problem of losing things in my purse. Two things that are helping to keep me organized are my camera bag from Jo Totes that has cute little dividers.and this little bag from Initials. I love this bag for two reasons.
1. It helps keep me organized and is perfect for lipstick and pens.
2. It supports adoption for children in foster homes. Each purchase donates $5.00 to help make a forever family.
I love it! So cute and fashionable. I ordered through my friend Katherine who is also a teacher. You can find her TpT store here and you can find her Initials page here if you want to support the cause during adoption month. Pictures taken from Initials website.
Favorite Thing #7
